2009 Children's Summer Camp Program

Our Day Camp Program could be just the ticket this summer.
No other Day Camp offers all these benefits:

Drop your children off on the way to work and pick them up on the way home.


2009 Summer Camp Weeks/Tuition
One week of Summer Camp is only $195.00. If you want to participate in the 3 exciting field trips per week (barring inclement weather) there is an additional non-refundable $10 renew/reservation fee for the Field Trip Package

Optional 3 field trips package for only $10/ week
A $50 registration fee is required for every first time camper.
A $10 renew/reserve fee and a $10 T-shirt fee per year is required for every camper
10% off tuition for second camper and 20% off tuition for each additional camper per household
$50 registration Fee and $10 Camp T- Shirt fee is required for every first time camper. $10 renew/reserve fee is required for all other campers.

The summer camp schedule is based on the Fairfax County Schools vacation plan.

Day Camp Sample Schedule (Activities will vary weekly)

MONDAY  
7:30 a.m. Drop off your children at your convenience between 7:00 and 9:45 a.m.
Games, Physical Activity, Quiet Activity or Movie.
10:00 a.m. Camp Begins; Line-up; Divide into teams.
Learn schedule, rules and regualtions; Teamwork practice
11:00 a.m. Personal Conduct Program (Rules and Manners at Home).
11:45 a.m. Confidence building drill ("Who Am I" and "I will become the best I can be")
12:30 p.m. Lunch and Rest, supervised free time.
2:00 p.m. Warm-up and Flexibility Exercises
2:30 p.m. Learn Tae Kwon Do customs and proper basic techniques training
3:30 p.m. Fun & Games (Speed Drills, Jumping practice).
4:30 p.m. Clean up and Rest
5:00 p.m. Tae Kwon Do Camp ends; Games, Physical Activity, Quiet Activity, or movie until parents pick up, at least by 6:30 p.m.
TUESDAY  
7:30 a.m. Drop off your children at your convenience between 7:00 and 9:45 a.m.
Games, Physical Activity, Quiet Activity or Movie.
10:00 a.m. Camp Begins; Line-up and Teamwork practice; Tae kwon Do Lessons (Divide by levels)
11:30 a.m. Fun and Games (Quiet Activity)
12:30 p.m. Lunch and Rest; supervised free time.
2:00 p.m. Partner Drills
3:00 p.m. Indoor Hockey and Soccer
3:45 p.m. Movie-style Sparring
4:30 p.m. Clean up and Rest
5:00 p.m. Tae Kwon Do Camp ends; Quiet Activity or Movie until parents pick-up by 6:30 p.m.
WEDNESDAY  
7:30 a.m. Drop off your children at your convenience between 7:00 and 9:45 a.m.
Games, Physical Activity, Quiet Activity or Movie.
10:00 a.m. Camp Begins; Line-up and Teamwork practice; TKD Lessons (Divide by levels)
11:30 a.m. Field trip to National Zoo, Museums, and other educational sites!
12:30 p.m. Lunch and Rest at park (Pack your lunch with more than enouph to share with Instructors and others)
4:30 p.m. Return to TKD Dojang; Clean-up and Rest
5:00 p.m. Tae Kwon Do Camp ends; Quiet Activity or Movie until parents pick-up, at least by 6:30 p.m.
THURSDAY  
7:30 a.m. Drop off your children at your convenience between 7:00 and 9:45 a.m.
Games, Physical Activity, Quiet Activity or Movie.
10:00 a.m. Camp Begins; Line-up and Teamwork practice; TKD Lessons (Divide by levels)
11:30 a.m. Discuss about friends, family and how to handle conflict
12:30 p.m. Field trip to Chuck E Cheese, Water Park, and other fun activities!
Lunch (Today, lunch will be provided by Grandmaster Lee)
4:30 p.m. Return to TKD Dojang; Clean-up and rest
5:00 p.m. Tae Kwon Do camp ends; Quiet Activity or Movie until parents pick-up, at least by 6:30 p.m.
FRIDAY  
7:30 a.m. Drop off your children at your convenience between 7:00 and 9:45 a.m.
Games, Physical Activity, Quiet Activity or Movie.
10:00 a.m. Camp Begins; Line-up and Teamwork practice; Fun and Games
11:00 a.m. Demonstrations Skills (HO Sin Sool, Rolling and Falling, Joint-locking Techniques, etc.)
adn Board-Breaking Practice (as appropriate for level)
12:30 p.m. Lunch and Rest, supervised free time
2:00 p.m. Field trip to the Pool - Tae Kwon Do Water Training and Swimming
4:30 p.m. Return to the TKD Dojang; Clean-up and Rest
5:00 p.m. Good-bye or Quiet Activity or Movie until parents pick up, at least by 6:30 p.m.

*After 6:30, there is a late charge for children not yet picked up.
STUDENT MUST BRING LUNCH EVERY DAY.
STUDENT MUST BRING A BATHING SUIT ON FRIDAY.

*This year's Summer Camp graduation ceremony will be held 9/4 (Friday) 3:30 p.m.
ETF Childrens Demo Team will be given an exciting demonstration
(All 11 weeks of summer camp participants and parents are invited)
